She could almost see it.
She could almost see the life that she could have,
the possibilities that she were there… and all those possibilities, especially
the possibility of being happier, were
enticing, appealing to every inch of her being. All she had to do was to drown
herself in those sapphire eyes of his, much like what she had done so many
times in the past.
She looked at those same ocean-coloured depths,
seeing all the promises of happiness and love in them.
Yet, she turned away, leaving one last kiss on his
cheek before she married someone else.
