She feels herself
weakening.
She sees her vision
blurring.
She feels herself
turning.
She is madly
shivering and she wraps her arms around herself in a pointless attempt to warm
herself.
The snow is cold, unrelenting
and continuous as it rains down on her weak form. But she doesn’t move away at
all. She stays where she is, where she has been for the past hour.
She feels more and
more exhausted.
She feels herself
wavering, faltering.
But all these have
nothing on what her heart is currently feeling.
So this is how it
feels like to be stood up.
